The certificate is not a state certificate of conformity, mandatory hotel classification, star-category award or substitute for governmental supervision.
Issue conditions
- the agreed on-site assessment has been completed;
- public information has been compared with actual conditions;
- the hotel has had an opportunity to submit factual comments;
- a positive final conclusion has been prepared;
- the certificate states its number, issue date and validity period.
Validity
Normally 12 months from the issue date. If material changes, closure, inaccurate information or other relevant circumstances arise, the Union may suspend or terminate the certificate and recommend a new assessment.
Payment for the assessment does not guarantee certification.
