Frequently Asked Questions

Listing terms, renewal, assessment, certification and the separation of project services from editorial media

How long is a paid profile listed?

For 12 months from its actual publication date on triplist.ru, unless a different term is agreed in the individual invoice.

How long is a free pilot profile listed?

Six months. Pilot listing is offered only by a separate project decision and is not a permanent free tariff.

Is renewal automatic?

No. Thirty to forty-five days before expiry, the hotel is invited to confirm its information. Renewal requires written confirmation and payment of a new invoice.

What happens if the profile is not renewed?

It is removed from the active directory or temporarily marked as expired. After a transition period of up to 30 days it may be moved to the archive.

What does a simple renewal cost?

If there are no material changes, the indicative amount may normally be about 60% of the current initial information-listing fee. The exact price is always stated in a new individual invoice.

Which changes must be reported?

Changes to the name, owner or operator, category, address, contacts, rooms, restaurants, pools, beach, children’s facilities, booking terms, or a renovation closure. The hotel should notify the project within 10 business days.

What is the difference between the €750 and €1,200 packages?

The €750 package provides a preliminary review and concise report. The €1,200 package adds extended analysis, a detailed improvement plan, a consultation and one follow-up review within 90 days.

Can a certificate be issued remotely?

No. A certificate is possible only after an on-site assessment and a positive final conclusion.

Does payment guarantee a positive outcome?

No. Payment covers the work, documents and recommendations. A positive assessment or certificate is not sold or guaranteed.

What is included in the €570 communications service?

A Russian-language hotel brief, adaptation of materials, answers to typical traveler questions, review of press materials, one consultation and an information kit for the hotel’s own outreach.

Is media publication included in a paid package?

No. No package includes or guarantees publication in “Troubled Future” or any other media outlet.

May the editorial office publish a free article about a hotel?

Yes, by an independent editorial decision. A free editorial article is not conditional on purchasing triplist.ru services.

What may the hotel check in a draft article?

Official facts such as the name, address, category, figures, services and facility names. The editorial office determines the headline, structure, wording and final content.

How long is a remote assessment current?

Up to 12 months unless material changes occur. An expired result may remain in the archive with a clear notice that it requires a new review.

How long is a certificate valid?

Normally 12 months from issue, unless the certificate or Union decision states otherwise.

Who pays travel expenses?

Agreed transport, visas, insurance, accommodation, subsistence, interpretation and other travel expenses are paid separately from the base on-site assessment fee.

How many representatives visit the hotel?

Normally two Union representatives. A different team may be agreed according to the size and features of the property.

May the hotel comment on the conclusion?

Yes. The normal period for factual comments is 7 business days. Verified errors are corrected, while the Union independently determines final evaluative conclusions.
